Cambridge Research Systems Ltd 'OptiCAL' is a computer controlled Photometer, designed to measure Luminance of CRT and similar display screens. It is enclosed in a small, lightweight housing, with an integral lens, subtending a 13° field of view. A soft rubber suction cup enables the detector to be firmly, but gently attached to the target, also acting as a light shade. Readout of Luminance and an L/T time graph is via a Laptop or PC, via the RS-232 interface, which also powers the unit. The silicon detector is accurately corrected to the CIE photopic characteristic. The 'colourCAL' colorimeter is designed to calibrate CRT monitors. Similar in construction to the 'OptiCAL', it attaches to the target via soft rubber suction cup and connects to a Laptop or PC via a USB connection. The software calculates Luminance and Colour co-ordinates. 80, Riverside Estate, Sir Thomas Langley Road, Rochester, ME2 4BH www.crsltd.com |
