Micron Calibration and Service Unit
The Calibration and Service unit is located in Poole, Dorset. It is equipped to service and repair the equipment supplied by Micron to its many customers and to third party customers. In addition, several calibration standards are maintained, enabling calibration of light meters, photometers and spectrophotometers, and infrared thermometers.

Luminance and Spectral Standards :
  • NIST traceable Luminance Standard.

  • Range : 0.01 cd/m2 to over 10,000 cd/m2
Apertures : 0.25 mms to 30 mms diameter.

    (variable from 2,000K to 5,000K).
  • Secondary Luminance Source.

  • with similar characteristics, for the middle Luminance range
  • Spectral Standards

  • Lamps, providing a range of wavelengths
Temperature Standards :
Infrared Radiation Reference Sources ('Blackbody').
  • High Temperature
    • Range : 100°C to 1,000 °C
